Edler, Ronald Arthur died peacefully December 24, 2016 at the age of 84.

Loving husband of Gloria A. (nee Koob) for 56 years. Beloved father of Douglas R. (Shari) Edler and Jane E. (Dennie) O’Dowd. Devoted grandfather of Nicholas Giese, Abbey Edler, and Elizabeth O’Dowd. Dear brother-in-law of Robert (Bev) and Bill (Debbie) Koob. Dear uncle, great uncle, cousin and friend. Ron retired in 1995 from BASF Corp. after 35 years. He was a kind and thoughtful person who will be greatly missed. Our sincere thanks and appreciation to the staff and hospice at Breeze Park Center.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Friday, December 30, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1355 Motherhead Road, Cottleville (63304). A memorial visitation will be at 12:00 p.m. Noon, one hour prior to mass. (MEET AT CHURCH) Inurnment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials have may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society at St. Joseph Catholic Church or to a charity of your choice.
