Keira Paige Stout

December 29, 2006 - May 3, 2017

Keira Paige Stout, born on December 29, 2006, gone from this world into the arms of her Savior at 8:49 am on May 3, 2017.  Daughter of David and Robin, sister of Marissa, Taran, Lily, and Caden, granddaughter of John and Gayln Daffron and Judith Hagan, great-granddaughter of Jack and Sharon Riles, and Ola Radford, niece of Dianna and Jeff Kramel, Shelly and Rich Fox, Joe Addington, Megan Mathis, Jesse Mathis, Sandy and Barry Ruoff, cousin of Hailey, Andrew, Averi, Jared, Kyle, Elena Fox, Banyan Kramel, Kelsey Williams, Alexis and Joe Addington, and Julia Combrevis. Friend to all and loved by many, she will be missed by countless across the globe.

During her 3 year battle with rhabdomyosarcoma, Keira never let her cancer define her, but remained the spunky, sassy, creative, faithful little girl that never met a stranger, and was loved by anyone blessed enough to meet her.

Keira had a faith that could move mountains and complete confidence that her journey here on earth would end in Jesus’ arms.  She never once wavered from her trust in the Lord and spoke boldly about Him wherever she went.

Keria was a 4th grade student at Mid Rivers Elementary where she had many friends and was a leader among her peers.  Keira carried her leadership skills onto the soccer field and into the O’Fallon, Missouri community where she was named an honorary firefighter.  She was also a faithful and active participant at The Summit Church’s children’s ministry.

Throughout her 3 years of cancer treatment, Keira endeared herself to countless nurses, doctors, therapists, techs, and every support role at Mercy Children’s Hospital and the Cardinal Kids Cancer Center. She had a heart for other children with cancer, and when she grew up she wanted to help them any way she could.

While we know that Keira is whole again and free of pain and suffering, we will forever feel her absence and miss her smile, laugh, and the contagious joy she brought wherever she went.

Dear Stout Family- Keira brought light and happiness wherever she went. We only had the gift of knowing her for a short time while her dad directed our Y-Club program. Her spirit, laugh, kindness, and outgoing attitude won all of us over. We looked forward to Keira days. She will be missed greatly by our students, families, and staff at our school. Thank you for sharing her with us. Love-Twin Chimneys Elementary School

Love to Daffron/Stout family. I prayed that I'd one day report on Keira's miracle recovery. Now I see the triumph of her love over suffering **was** the real miracle...that she was a true reflection of the One whose life ... was love personified. Matthew 26:39 Andy B.

I will always remember Keira's red hair and a smile that could light up the room. She had an infectious laughter that made you smile. She was a brave, sweet young lady who I had the priviledge of knowing for 6 years. She will be missed, but her spirit will continue to live on through many of us who knew and loved her. Heaven just received a new angel. My heart goes out to the Stout family, who have had such an impact in my life. I pray for peace and strength as they go through this tough time.

As an educator I thought I would be the one to teach you , but instead you taught me and so many others about strength, resilience, attitude, and of course spunkyness. You are very missed each and every day.

Keira was such a sweet, happy and funny girl. Santa and I met her at O'Charley's in O'Fallon, MO at our very first Breakfast With Santa (To Benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities). She danced and sang the entire time. We loved her and her beautiful red hair and precious smile. We are so very sorry for your loss. We know she is free of pain, running in green meadows, smelling the flowers and resting in God's loving arms. God bless all of you and give you strength and peace.

KEIRA, my young beautiful friend. I'll never forget the first time I met you. It was summer, we came over for a BBQ, you walked right up to me, introduced yourself asked me if I was Mr. Chris's wife and gave me a huge hug. That's when my heart melted and my life was never the same. You gave the best hugs and your smile was so contagious. I totally fell in love with you. If "Mr. Chris" and I had ever had a daughter we would of loved her to be as sweet, loving, kind and spunky as you. You fought such a hard, long fight, ive never met anyone stronger than you. We love you spunky, be at peace. Love Chris and Monica

No one has ever touched our lives and gave us hope and something to believe in as you did sweet girl! The love that we have for you is never ending! The impact you had on my baby girl while she was fighting her fight is unexplainable. You taught her to love herself again, you taught her that bald was still beautiful, you showed her that she had nothing to be embarrassed about. Thank you Keira for being a shining light in those dark days and since then! Thank you Robin and David and the entire family for welcoming our family into your life and for taking us under your wing. We love you and are always here for you. Please accept our most sincere condolences and know that we will forever be #KeiraStrong
