Evelyn M Ruzensky, 82, Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on March 19, 2017. Beloved wife of Robert Louis Ruzensky for 64 years; loving mother of Sherry (Jack) Goodner, Bob (Debra) Ruzensky, Cathy (Keith) Childs, Debby (Roger) Green; cherished grandmother of Anna Green, Bobby (Katie) Ruzensky, Katie Ruzensky; dear sister of Velma King and the late Georgie Minstermann; dear daughter of the late George and Clara (nee Schneider) Minstermann.
Evelyn was a volunteer with OASIS Tutor for many years. Devoted Catholic that was active with Our Lady of Fatima Parish in Florissant and Sts. Joachim and Ann Parish in St. Charles. She will be remembered by her shining smile and her warm and caring hugs. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren and butterflies.

Visitation from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Wed., March 22, 2017 from Hutchens-Stygar Funeral and Cremation Center, 5987 Mid Rivers Mall Dr. (St. Charles)

Funeral: Thurs, March 23 at 10:15 am from Hutchens-Stygar Funeral and Cremation Center for an 11:00 a.m. Mass at Sts. Joachim and Ann Catholic Church, 4112 McClay Rd. (St. Charles).

Interment: Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery

Ed and I will always remember Evelyn's beautiful smile and cheerful way about her. I will miss her hugs she gave me every Saturday night at 5 o'clock mass. Our thoughts and prayers are with Bob and the family and we know you all will find comfort and peace knowing that Evelyn is in Heaven and is smiling on all of us.

I am sad that you are gone, but I know you are in Heaven now. My condolences to all friends and family members. I loved the board games and card games we played when we visited for holidays. Thank you for helping me when my parents were in the hospital and I had nowhere to go when I was young.
